Before the war, many of the cats in Ukraine were living happy lives, with regular meals, cozy places to sleep, and humans to supervise. Now a lot of these cats need help. Ukrainian soldiers, Marines, volunteers, and families are already giving their time and resources to look after the cats that just sort of show up, in trenches, bunkers, vehicles, garages, yards, homes, and everywhere else.

We help fund spay-and-neuter operations, basic vet care, cat food, and so forth. Sometimes we also assist with other companion animals needing help. This isn’t our main mission. But we like cats. And we love the people who choose to look out for cats even in the middle of a war. We can’t do everything. But with your help, we can do something. Even if it’s only a little, it’s a thing worth doing.
