Our Philosophy

Alaska2Ukraine exists because we believe that freedom is not negotiable, and that ordinary people have the power to achieve extraordinary things when they work together and act with purpose, authenticity, and unwavering commitment to their principles.

What Do We Do?

Alaska2Ukraine raises funds, promotes public awareness, and conducts field operations in Ukraine for and in support of Ukrainian volunteers.

When Do We Get to Go Home?

Alaska2Ukraine will have successfully completed its mission when Ukraine achieves victory.

When Ukraine wins, we all get to go home.

Who Do We Work With?

Alaska2Ukraine works primarily, but by no means exclusively, in cooperation with “THAT DAY”/«ТОЙ ДЕНЬ» Ukrainian NGO. Our Ukrainian partners are civilian and military volunteers and the communities they support. See ‘Our Partners’ for additional details.

What Does Ukrainian Victory Look Like?

Full sovereignty over all territory to Ukraine’s internationally recognized 1991 borders.
Recovery of remains, repatriation, or right of return for all citizens taken or forced from Ukraine by Russia since 2014.
Rescue of the more than 23,500 Ukrainian children kidnapped by russia since February 2022.
Initiation of criminal proceedings under customary international law against the perpetrators of all war crimes committed against Ukraine and Ukrainians from 2014 to the present.
Rebuilding and reconstruction of the estimated $524,000,000,000.00 USD (524 billion USD) in physical damage caused by russia’s ongoing war of destruction against Ukraine.
